Daily Intake for Balanced Diet

5 servings of vegetables per day
2 pieces of fruit per day
1 serving of lean protein (about the size of the palm of your hand) per day
2 or 3 servings of fish a week
4 servings of breads and cereals
2 or 3 servings of dairy
