Gaza: Too little, Too Late
by Rula Zein-Iddin
*********************************************
Like puppets on a string
To the table with nothing to bring
In anger we rise to the bait
Regardless of whether it is too late
Despite such obvious manipulation
We always succumb to the temptation
Such impressive degrees and education
Open minds, closed doors, misinformation
It is hard to look in the mirror
And envision the brutal horror
To stand hands ever tied
Shocked mouths open wide
How dare they do this again we exclaim!
But what do we do beyond the disdain?
Outrageous condemnation ensues
Followed by guilt money to try and subdue
How long will we remain so morally corrupt?
For it to end will we just have to erupt?
